“Nepono” is the name of “la flor sagrada”, the holy flower, used by some indigenous communities during different rituals for healing and spirituality.
These earrings are handcrafted by the 'Embera Chami', indigenous group from 'Risaralda', Colombia.

The Model: Yurany Tanigama. She is a young artisan from the Embera Chami Community. As must of the young guys in this community, she is learning the skills of weaving the beads as their ancestors.
